In general, the patent allows strengthening
the competitiveness of the company; however, MIRAE OHSUNG ASSET will enhance
the competitiveness of the invested companies and promote IP (Intellectual
Property) business based on the patent technology.
Among the patents that the company
obtained, medical antibacterial products containing caffeic acid phenethyl
ester, which is the active agent of propolis, and its manufacturing methods
will bring the technology competitiveness in cosmetics industry. The subject
patent contains caffeic acid phenethyl ester, which is the active agent of
propolis, thus it is able to produce biologically safe antibacterial products.
Also, it prevents occurrence of fungi, thus it is proven to be safe from the
secondary infection protection upon injection into human body, mutant and
micro-nucleus experiments.
Such propolis will be used for
antibacterial products including cotton, bandage, cotton gauze, cotton swab and
suture in medical industry and cosmetic industry with cosmetic products
containing antibacterial and anti-inflammation functions.
